    Before you venture into the CMMS arena, RDMI will perform an audit of your maintenance department and develop a needs assessment report. A typical report will take 3 to 5 days to complete and will give you a snap shot of your current operations and an overall picture of resources required to implement an effective computerized maintenance management system.

For determining your needs RDMI has developed a methodology using the participatory approach. Our approach requires commitment from top management and discussions with employees covering a wide cross-section of maintenance, operations and administrative personnel - from staff levels to senior management. There are a number of key elements which will be covered such as:

  • Review of your current maintenance operations
  • Documentation of key systems, process, procedural and management issues
  • Defining objectives of implementing CMMS with techniques and methodology.
  • Defining the benefits of the new system to management, staff and workers
  • Conducting a Cost-Justification Analysis
