 RDMI
has developed a 5-step implementation plan for
computerized maintenance management software. A typical
implementation takes 10 - 15 days, depending on the scope
and size of the facility.No
matter how sophisticated a software you buy, the
software, in itself, does not guarantee you to reach your
goal of having an efficient maintenance program. The
implementation step is crucial to the quality of your
maintenance system. A study carried out in the United
States and Canada revealed that 80% of the companies that
have a maintenance management software, use, on an
average, 15% of its potential. This is primarily due to
an ill-prepared implementation, and to the lack of
training and motivation of the maintenance crew.
RDMI's
engineers are professionally trained to manage
implementation projects in accordance with project
management techniques. RDMI's project manager will act as
the contact person for the client. The project manager,
who will be co-ordinating directly with the Plant
Engineer, will provide timely updates on project status,
schedule changes, data conversion, training requirements,
and a project summary analysis.
