Reparable Asset Management System (RAM)
MoCA-RAM System
provides the capability to manage all Reparable Assets. By definition
Reparable Assets are those movable assets which may move from equipment to
equipment and are need to be tracked and maintained. Some examples are
motors, pumps, dies and circuit boards.
MoCA-RAM will
track and report on Repair Orders, Spares Inventory, Repair Purchases,
Warranties and Supplier Performance. RAM comes with Palm Pilot Option. It
gives user the ability to become paperless by carrying digital information
in the Palm. Users can perform tasks at the shop floor level, enter
material and parts information, and input comments and corrective actions.
At the end of the day, they can upload all the information back to MoCA
with a click of a button. The bar code scanner with the Palm will enable
the user to scan information rather than entering it manually.
